How do I fix Windows Media Player original error code 80040154?

My windows media player wont let me play any of my music. Any song that I choose it just repeats the same message about Error Message COOD11B1 and under technical support it says Original Error Code 80040154. I have windows XP and the media player is the 11th version if that helps out any. And I already tried to delete and re install the program but no luck.
