Which is better: iPod, Zune, or Other?

My iPod has been acting especially funky these past few months and actually erased my music and movies. (I had 18G of music and now POOF!!) I am considering buying a Zune because I hear that they are better than iPods. Is it really true or are there other mp3 players that are better?
Every music device is going to be flaky like that. Just make sure you 'back up' your library by saving it to your computer or putting it on a CD. I'm currently on my third iPod, and let me tell you- every single one of them has given me heck. I love them when they work, but that's only like 90% of the time.


They are all susceptible to losing the memory. The Key is to backup your music library. I have had both Zune, and Ipod. I prefer Ipod. I think that the sound quality is better.
