Is there anyway I can listen to loud music in my car without damaging my hearing?

Growing up I had loss of hearing (ran in family). I'm not completely deaf but I can hear just not as good as some people. I heard that listening to loud (not extremely loud) in a car will damage hearing. Is that true? If so, how can I listen to loud music in a car without damaging my hearing?

If you have hearing issues, it means vibrations don't travel as well through your ears as they should. This means that a harder vibration will create fewer vibrations in your ear as a normal ear. Because of this, the cells move less, and a louder volume will cause as much shaking as a softer volume in someone Else's ear. This eliminates the issue, you are safe to listen to loud music.
